About Larry Gottlieb
Welcome… to a new way of looking at your life!
The premise of my work is that at the root of all human belief systems lie one or more fundamental misunderstandings. Discover how to let go of self limiting beliefs. That includes my beliefs… and yours. Because… we’ve all been hoodwinked!*
* Hoodwink: To deceive or trick; to blindfold
Those misunderstandings are responsible for Albert Einstein’s declaration that “you can’t solve problems with the same thinking that created them in the first place.” Constructing belief systems on top of fundamental misunderstandings is like building on top of an unstable foundation.
When we were taught language, it was inevitable that we also acquired the worldview of those from whom we learned that language. We now live inside that description of the world, and it shapes and colors everything we look at. Because we depend on that understanding for our well-being and for the success of all our endeavors, it has become a jealous master.
I call our view of the world "the water we swim in." Like the proverbial water to the fish, we are essentially unaware that we are immersed in that view. My work helps readers unlock their natural power to determine the quality of their own lives.
Larry Gottlieb on The Inner Game… a radio interview with Gwen Garcelon at KDNK!
Recorded September 22, 2021
Back in 2013, when I published my first book, The Seer’s Explanation, I was interviewed on Grassroots TV in Aspen, Colorado.
Even though this interview was relevant to that book, it expresses many of the principles contained in my new book, “Hoodwinked.” Enjoy!
About Larry Gottlieb
I completed my undergraduate work in physics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1967 and my master’s degree in X-ray astronomy at the University of California, San Diego, in 1969. After participating actively in the anti-Vietnam War movement in San Diego, I moved to Aspen, Colorado in 1970 and began a 20-year career in the music business.
In 1972 I found myself inquiring into the nature of consciousness and its relationship to the world we live in. Two years later an incident occurred that forever altered my view of how consciousness and the physical world are related. Since then, I have endeavored to explain why the world shows up the way it does. In so doing, I have experienced within myself the power to determine the quality of my own life.
